Head-On Crash on Highway 128 in Calistoga Leaves 4 People with Major Injuries

 
CALISTOGA, CA (March 15, 2023) – Cynthia Throm, Dennis Throm and Megan Turner were among four people who were injured in a head-on crash north of Calistoga on Sunday evening.
 
The crash happened around 5:13 p.m. on March 12, along Highway 128 near Tubbs Lane. According to the California Highway Patrol, a westbound 2020 Hyundai Palisade and an eastbound 2020 Honda CR-V collided head-on for unknown reasons.
 
As a result, four people, two in each vehicle, suffered major injuries.
 
Cynthia, a 63-year-old from Brookings, Oregon, was the driver of the Hyundai. Dennis, 77, was her passenger. Both were taken by American Medical Response ambulance to Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
 
Turner, a 32-year-old Santa Rosa resident, was the driver of the Honda. She was taken by ambulance to Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, along with an 8-year-old girl riding in her SUV.
 
An investigation into this crash is underway.
