Head-On Crash on Dos Palmas Road in Victorville Sends Child to Hospital

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (May 23, 2024) – A child was airlifted in a head-on accident on Dos Palmas Road in Victorville Friday afternoon on May 17.
 
The accident happened just after 4:00 p.m. just west of El Evado Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Mazda 3 and a gray four-door vehicle collided head-on for unknown reasons.
 
Responding emergency personnel requested an airship to land at Victor Valley Global Medical Center to airlift the child to a trauma center with unspecified injuries.
 
A second child and adult male were transported by ambulance with complaints of pain.
 
At this time, the exact cause of the crash is still under investigation.
