28-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Sedan on Highway 173 in Hesperia
HESPERIA, CA (November 5, 2024) – Chad M. Gueltzow was killed in a motorcycle accident in Hesperia Friday afternoon on November 1.
The fatal accident happened shortly after 2:00 p.m. along Highway 173, just south of Mojave River Forks Regional Park. According to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Office, Gueltzow was riding a blue and white Suzuki motorcycle when he collided with a white 2023 Chevrolet Volt.
Gueltzow suffered fatal injuries from the crash and died at the scene. He was a 28-year-old Victorville resident.
Meanwhile, the driver of the sedan was unharmed.
Authorities said Gueltzow was riding with a group of fellow motorcyclists at the time of the accident. He is a father to two young children.
His family members set up an online fundraiser for his funeral expenses.
