30-Year-Old Woman Dies after Struck by Vehicle in Lancaster

 
LANCASTER, CA (June 26, 2024) – Brittany Brown was hit and killed by a vehicle in Lancaster early Tuesday morning on June 25.
 
The fatal crash happened around 2:00 a.m. at the intersection of 15th Street East and Avenue I. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, a sedan was traveling west on Avenue I and struck Brown who was walking west on the bicycle lane.
 
Brown suffered major trauma from the impact and was pronounced dead at the scene. She was 30 years old, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner’s office.
 
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. It is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol were contributing factors.
