Bicyclist Suffers Serious Injuries after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Hawthorne Boulevard in Torrance

 
TORRANCE, CA (February 24, 2025) – A bicyclist was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash at Hawthorne Boulevard and Artesia Boulevard in Torrance early Saturday morning.
 
The crash happened around 12:30 a.m. on February 22. According to the Torrance Police Department, the driver of an unknown vehicle struck the bicyclist and fled the scene.
 
Paramedics responded and rushed the bicyclist to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
 
Police later located the suspect and took them into custody.

An investigation into this crash is ongoing.
