63-Year-Old Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Bicycle Accident on Rosemarie Lane in Stockton
STOCKTON, CA (June 4, 2024) – A 63-year-old man died in a hit-and-run accident on Rosemarie Lane, Sunday evening.
According to the Stockton Police Department, the incident happened on June 2. For reasons still under investigation, a vehicle and a bicycle collided near the intersection of Rosemarie Lane and North Pershing Avenue.
Emergency crews pronounced the bicyclist dead at the scene. Authorities withheld the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
As per reports, the driver of the vehicle fled the area and failed to render aid. The description of the suspect vehicle was not immediately disclosed.
Stockton police continue to investigate the cause of the fatal hit-and-run. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
