Driverless Car Hits Bicyclist at 17th Street in San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (February 8, 2024) — A bicyclist hit by a driverless car at 17th Street and Mississippi Street suffered minor injuries.
According to reports, the bicycle accident happened around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday. Under circumstances that require further investigation, a Waymo vehicle proceeded through an intersection after a truck drove through. Subsequently, the driverless car struck a bicyclist trailing behind the truck and happened to cross into the car’s trajectory.
