1 Seriously Injured in Bicycle Accident on North State Street near Kunzler Ranch Road in Ukiah

UKIAH, CA (February 19, 2025) – A bicyclist sustained serious injuries in an accident on North State Street, Friday evening.

According to the Ukiah Police Department, the incident happened on February 14, at about 7:19 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a vehicle struck a bicycle near the intersection of North State Street and Kunzler Ranch Road.

An air ambulance transported the victim to a medical facility. As per reports, the victim remains in critical condition.

Details on the driver and vehicle involved in the collision were not immediately available. It is also unclear whether the bicyclist was struck by an SUV or a city bus, both of which were reported to be on the scene.

Ukiah police continue to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
