BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 8, 2024) — At least one person sustained an injury in a 2-car rollover accident on the 5 Freeway near Lerdo Highway.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-car crash happened around 10:40 a.m. Monday. For an unknown reason, a driver crashed into a vehicle, causing one of the cars to roll over and strike a power pole.
 
At least one person reported unknown injuries in the accident that drew emergency crews to the scene shortly after.
