Fight Reported, Hit-and-Run 2-Vehicle Crash at Broadway Street in Eureka

 
EUREKA, CA (June 1, 2023) — An altercation ensued following a hit-and-run 2-car accident at Broadway Street and Wabash Avenue.
 
According to a scanner traffic report, the two-vehicle crash happened around 9:30 p.m. Sunday. For an unknown reason, two cars crashed at the intersection and led to a physical altercation between the two parties. Before the police arrived at the scene, one of the drivers left the scene.
 
Responding paramedics and firefighters found that one car had crashed into an unknown structure at Coast Guard Park.
 
As of now, police do not have information on what drove the accident or if anyone reported injuries. If anyone has more to add to this collision, please call the Eureka Police Department.
