Adwale Oyedokun Killed in Pedestrian Crash on 60 Freeway near Garfield Avenue

 
MONTEBELLO, CA (September 20, 2024) — Adwale Oyedokun died in Tuesday’s pedestrian accident on the 60 Freeway near Garfield Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly pedestrian accident happened around 10:38 p.m. Tuesday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck 29-year-old Oyedokun. Subsequently, paramedics arrived and rendered life-saving measures. However, efforts fell short and Oyedokun died at the scene. The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner arrived shortly after to assist the body.
 
Due to the accident, CHP officers issued a SigAlert for the eastbound freeway while they investigated the crash.
