84-Year-Old David Bell Dies in Propane Tank Explosion on Highway 247 near Rattlesnake Canyon Road

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (July 19, 2024) — David Bell died in a fiery propane tank accident on Highway 247 near Rattlesnake Canyon Road.
 
According to authorities, the deadly fiery crash happened Monday afternoon. Under unclear circumstances, a driver hauling propane tanks collided with a vehicle, driven by 84-year-old Bell. Due to the crash, a fire exploded, setting the car in flames.
 
Soon after, San Bernardino County Fire Department paramedics responded to find the vehicle fully torched and multiple propane tanks that had exploded prior to their arrival.
 
Paramedics took two people to a hospital in an unknown condition, and one person, later identified as Bell, passed away at the scene.
