83-Year-Old Man Killed in Two-Car Accident at Broadway and Graves Avenue [El Cajon, CA]

Two-Car Accident on Broadway in El Cajon Kills One Passenger

 
EL CAJON, CA (October 4, 2021) – An 83-year-old man was killed in a two-car accident at Broadway and Graves Avenue in El Cajon Sunday night.
 
The accident happened just before 6:00 p.m. on October 2. According to the El Cajon Police Department, a dark-colored sedan was traveling westbound on Broadway and turned southbound on Graves Avenue when it was struck by a white pickup truck, which was traveling eastbound on Broadway.
 
As a result, the elderly male passenger in the sedan suffered severe injuries and died at the hospital. The 86-year-old female passenger sustained minor injuries.
 
The sole occupant of the pickup truck was unhurt.
 
Police said it does not appear that drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident. They asked anyone with further information to call them at (619) 579-3311.
