TULARE, CA (September 27, 2024) — An 83-year-old man died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Bardsley Avenue and Cardoza Street.
 
According to Tulare Police officers, the deadly hit-and-run happened around 5:00 a.m. Wednesday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a man possibly walking north in an attempt to cross the street. Subsequently, the motorist fled the area before police officers arrived. Upon dispatch, authorities found the unresponsive victim on the road and took him to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
