82-Year-Old Man Dies in Hit-and-Run Accident at Miami Avenue and Coronado Street [Hayward, CA]

HAYWARD, CA (December 27, 2024) — An 82-year-old man died in a hit-and-run accident at Miami Avenue and Coronado Street Monday.
 
The Hayward Police Department responded to the intersection around 6:00 a.m. Monday. Upon dispatch, officers found an elderly victim on the road with injuries consistent with that of being hit by a car.
 
Paramedics transported the 82-year-old man to a hospital where he died from his injuries. Officials have withheld his name until they notify his family.
