Pedestrian Dies in Rose Street Accident in North Berkeley
NORTH BERKELEY, CA (November 18, 2024) — A 78-year-old pedestrian hit by a car on Rose Street at Josephine Street died Thursday evening.
Berkeley Police officers responded to the crash around 6:17 p.m. Thursday to find a 78-year-old man with major injuries. Paramedics transported him to Highland Hospital, but he passed away there. Officials have not released his identity.
The 79-year-old Berkeley woman driving the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with police. However, officers did not indicate the leading cause of the crash.
