EUREKA, CA (July 18, 2023) — A 73-year-old man suffered an injury in a 2-car accident at Harris Street and H Street Friday.
 
According to the Eureka Police Department, the two-car crash happened around 8:30 a.m. on July 14. For unknown reasons, a smart car and a Dodge Charger crashed, leaving both vehicles with major damage and blown-out tires.
 
Humboldt Bay Fire and City Ambulance responded to the scene to tend to a 73-year-old patient who sustained pain in his sternum due to the airbag deploying.
