70-Year-Old Hospitalized in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on College Avenue in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (September 12, 2023) — A 70-year-old pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run accident on College Avenue near Streamview Drive.
According to San Diego police officers, the hit-and-run happened around 7:43 p.m. Sunday. For an unknown reason, a driver in a dark-colored sedan failed to stop after hitting a pedestrian who had just entered the marked crosswalk at Streamview Drive and College Avenue.
The victim suffered a brain bleed, a fractured wrist and a left thumb. Due to the person’s injuries, paramedics took the victim to a hospital for treatment.
