Man Struck, Injured in Pedestrian Crash on 805 Freeway in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 28, 2024) — A 67-year-old man was hit and injured in a pedestrian accident on the 805 Freeway near Clairemont Mesa Boulevard.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the pedestrian accident happened around 2:20 p.m. Monday. For unknown reasons, a 67-year-old man stepped in front of an oncoming 2012 Ford F-150. Subsequently, the Ford driver struck the pedestrian on the off-ramp of the 805 Freeway onto Clairemont Mesa Boulevard.
Shortly after, paramedics arrived and took the victim to a hospital with a fractured skull.
