Child Suffers Broken Leg after Hit by Car on Caesar Avenue in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (August 6, 2024) – A 6-year-old boy was hospitalized after being hit by a car at Caesar Avenue and Huntington Avenue in southeast Fresno early Sunday morning.
 
The crash happened just after 1:00 a.m. on August 3. According to the Fresno Police Department, the child was running across the street to greet his family when a car hit him.
 
Responding paramedics rushed the boy to a nearby hospital with a broken leg and some minor injuries.
 
The driver stayed on scene and cooperated with officers.
 
Authorities said alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash, which is under investigation.
