5 Hurt in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 138 in Hesperia

 
HESPERIA, CA (November 5, 2024) — Five people were injured in a fiery multi-car accident on Highway 138 near the 15 Freeway.
 
The multi-vehicle crash occurred around 9:00 p.m. Friday. For an unknown reason, at least two cars collided and caught fire. Subsequently, emergency personnel responded and found both vehicles on fire and several people on the road.
 
Paramedics took roughly five people with critical injuries to a hospital by ground ambulances. Authorities did not say what led to the fiery collision that prompted a closure in both directions on Highway 138.
 
If anyone has information about what led to this crash, call the California Highway Patrol.
