4 Hospitalized in Head-On Collision on National Trails Highway

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (September 24, 2024) — Four people reported injuries in a head-on accident on National Trails Highway near the 40 Freeway.
 
According to reports, the two-car crash happened around 3:16 p.m. on September 23. Under unclear circumstances, two SUVs collided head-on. Subsequently, Victorville City Fire responded and called three ground ambulances and two helicopters for the patients.
 
After the accident, police closed National Trails Highway in both directions to comb the scene for clues leading to the cause of the crash. Due to the closure, VVTA bus route 22 was reduced to serving Dante Street and Stoddard Wells Road due to the ongoing incident.
