4 Hurt in Fiery 2-Vehicle Collision on Curtola Parkway in Vallejo

 
VALLEJO, CA (September 27, 2024) — Four people suffered minor to major injuries in a fiery 2-car accident on Curtola Parkway and Solano Avenue.
 
According to the Vallejo Fire Department, the two-vehicle wreck happened around 8:37 a.m. Wednesday. For an unknown reason, a Chevrolet Camaro SS driver rear-ended a Vallejo water truck before catching fire.
 
Subsequently, Vallejo Police officers arrived to contain the flames before Vallejo Fire arrived and freed the trapped Chevrolet motorist from the driver’s side window.
 
Minutes after the rescue, paramedics transported the Camaro driver to a hospital with major injuries.
 
In addition, the Vallejo city worker driving the truck, and two firefighters suffered minor injuries.
