3 Hurt in Overturned Crash on Elliot Road in Winchester

 
WINCHESTER, CA (May 20, 2024) — Three people suffered minor to major injuries in a rollover accident on Elliot Road near Keller Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the single-car crash happened around 7:30 p.m. Saturday. For an unknown reason, a 17-year-old Murrieta boy lost control of a 2008 Ford Ranger. Subsequently, the southbound truck veered onto the dirt shoulder, spun out and rolled over.
 
Upon impact, three unsecured juveniles riding in the bed of the truck were ejected onto the dirt shoulder area. Minutes later, paramedics took the 16-year-old girl and 17-year-old boy to Inland Valley Medical Center with major injuries. As for the other unsecured teen, he or she suffered minor injuries.
 
As of now, officers have made no arrests. However, an investigation into the cause should confirm more details.
