3 Hospitalized, Car Crashes Into Pole at Balboa Boulevard in Granada Hills

 
GRANADA HILLS, CA (October 4, 2024) — Three people were injured after a car crashed into a pole at Balboa Avenue and Chatsworth Street.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the single-car crash happened around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver lost control and slammed into a light pole in Granada Hills.
 
Subsequently, firefighters responded to the scene to find one person trapped in the wreckage. However, the victim exited the car before paramedics took the individual to a hospital.
 
In total, paramedics brought three people to a hospital for care.
 
At this time, officers do not know what led to the crash but will investigate further.
