SACRAMENTO, CA (July 24, 2024) — Three people were injured in a broadside accident at American Avenue and Cleveland Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash happened around 3:58 a.m. Tuesday. For an unknown reason, one vehicle broadsided another at the intersection. Shortly after, paramedics responded to Sacramento’s Gardenland neighborhood to find a man and two women needing hospital transportation for unknown injuries.
 
Traffic investigators did not specify what led to the collision, including if DUI, distracted driving or speeding played a part in the cause.
