GORMAN, CA (November 18, 2024) — Three people were injured and a big rig overturned in a 6-car accident on the 5 Freeway and Highway 138.
 
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the multi-car crash happened late Friday morning. Around 11:16 a.m., Los Angeles County Fire Department officials responded to the scene to find six vehicles involved, including an overturned big rig. Three people required hospital care and were taken to a nearby medical center.
 
Due to the accident, officers issued a SigAlert with only the right lane open for traffic flow. The crash halted traffic to Vista Del Lago Road. Officials did not say what led to the accident, but an investigation should confirm the details.
