Triple Fatality in High-Speed Pursuit Crash at Airport Way in Stockton

 
STOCKTON, CA (January 6, 2025) — Three people died in a high-speed chase that ended in a 2-car accident at Airport Way and Hazleton Avenue.
 
According to the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office, the fatal two-vehicle accident happened around 1:40 a.m. Sunday. The sheriff’s deputies attempted to stop a suspected stolen car near Wilson Way. However, the driver did not comply; instead, the motorist fled southbound. From there, a pursuit unfolded at high speeds until the suspect crashed into an uninvolved vehicle at Airport Way and Hazleton Avenue.
 
Tragically, two people in the uninvolved vehicle and the suspect died in the collision.
 
The Stockton Police Department and the Sheriff’s Office are investigating the circumstances of the incident. The three victims’ names were not released since officials had not notified family members.
