Three-Vehicle Accident on Highway 12 near Pythian Road in Santa Rosa

 
SANTA ROSA, CA (November 23, 2021) – Two people sustained injuries in a three-vehicle accident on Highway 12, Friday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on November 19, at about 7:00 a.m. For reasons still under investigation, three vehicles collided near Pythian Road.
 
Responding crews rendered aid to two injured victims. However, it is unknown whether the victims needed hospitalization.
 
Traffic officers temporarily blocked the eastbound lane of the highway to make way for a tow truck. Affected lanes were later reopened at 8:40 a.m.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
