HESPERIA, CA (November 26, 2024) — Two people were injured in a head-on accident on Summit Valley Road near Trout Road.
 
According to San Bernardino County Fire officials, the head-on crash happened around 11:24 p.m. on November 23. For an unknown reason, a white four-door Toyota Corolla and a red Ford Escape SUV collided head-on. Subsequently, San Bernardino County Fire authorities responded to the scene and immediately transferred two critically injured patients via helicopter to land at Hesperia Airport.
 
Reports did not specify the leading cause of the accident, which closed Summit Valley Road in both directions due to the crash.
