NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA (July 23, 2024) — Two people were injured after a car crashed off Business 80 at the 80 Freeway connector.
 
The Sacramento Metro Fire responded to reports of a vehicle driving off Business 80 Thursday afternoon. Upon responding, paramedics took two people with unknown injuries to a hospital. However, the California Highway Patrol did not specify what led to the crash that resulted in a left connector lane closure as of 7:44 p.m. But an investigation into the incident should confirm the cause and liabilities.
