BEAUMONT, CA (March 3, 2023) — Two people reported moderate injuries in a 3-car accident on Highway 60 near Timothy Lane.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle crash happened around 10:15 a.m. Thursday. For unknown reasons, three vehicles collided in the Badlands area between Beaumont and Moreno Valley. Responding authorities surmised that a driver of a Ford pickup rear-ended a BMW hatchback, resulting in a chain reaction collision with a Dodge Ram 1500.
 
As a result, two people suffered moderate injuries and sought care at Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley.
 
Authorities had to close at least one eastbound lane to investigate.
