2 Hurt in Rollover Crash on Highway 246 in Santa Ynez
SANTA YNEZ, CA (December 23, 2024) — Two people were injured in a two-car rollover accident on Highway 246 near Refugio Road.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the two-car crash happened Thursday morning. For unknown reasons, two vehicles crashed on Highway 246 at North Refugio Road. The impact sent one of the cars rolling over multiple times before resting on its side.
The occupant in the vehicle exited through the window before the Santa Barbara County Fire Department took the victim to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. A second patient suffered minor injuries but declined hospital care.
Police did not specify the leading cause of the crash. However, an investigation should confirm the details.
