2 Hospitalized in 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 in Eureka

 
EUREKA, CA (September 3, 2024) — Two people were injured in a 2-car accident on Highway 101 in Humboldt County.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash happened around 4:14 p.m. on August 30. For an unknown reason, two cars collided at an intersection in Humboldt County. Subsequently, CHP officers and paramedics responded to the broadside collision report to find a Subaru Crosstrek with front-end damage and another vehicle at the scene.
 
Soon after, Humble Towing arrived to haul away the Subaru and the other car blocking the northbound lanes and the center divider. Although the incident was initially reported as a major injury crash, reports confirmed minor injuries instead.
 
The two people with minor wounds received hospital care after the crash.
