2 Hurt in 2-Car Collision on 15 Freeway in Cajon Pass
CAJON PASS, CA (September 12, 2022) — Two people were injured in a 2-car accident on the 15 Freeway near Highway 138 on Sunday.
According to reports, the two-vehicle collision occurred around 12:33 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in a Range Rover and another in a black GMC pickup truck crashed. The Range Rover driver overturned multiple times before coming to a stop on a dirt embankment near the right-hand shoulder.
According to callers, one person was ejected from that vehicle, and an electronic speed sign sustained damage during the incident.
Soon after, San Bernardino County Fire responded to the scene and assisted two patients, one with critical injuries and another with minor injuries.
Following the crash, authorities worked on clearing the scene, causing a backup to Ranchero Road in Hesperia.
