Pickup Truck and Sedan Collide on Highway 299 in Redding Sending Two People to Hospital
REDDING, CA (October 15, 2024) – Two people were hospitalized in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 299 in Redding Monday morning on October 14.
The accident happened around 6:00 a.m. at Old Oregon Trail near Shasta College. According to the California Highway Patrol, a white pickup truck and a white Honda Accord collided at a work zone.
Emergency crews responded and took two people to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Authorities stopped all eastbound traffic to clear the area of crash debris.
The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
