Teen Suffers Injuries after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on F Street in Los Banos

 
LOS BANOS, CA (September 16, 2024) – A 17-year-old boy was hurt in a hit-and-run crash on F Street in Los Banos early Saturday morning on September 14.
 
The crash happened around 12:30 a.m. near Second Street. According to the Los Banos Police Department, the teen was riding an electric scooter when a Nissan blew a stop sign and struck him.
 
After the crash, the 22-year-old male driver of the Nissan fled the scene without rendering aid.
 
Fortunately, the teen only suffered minor injuries.
 
Police later caught the driver and arrested him for hit and run and suspicion of driving under the influence.
 
An investigation into this crash is ongoing.
