Teen Hurt in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Fir Street in Westwood
WESTWOOD, CA (November 22, 2024) — A 16-year-old was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Fir Street near 2nd Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian accident happened around 1:00 p.m. Wednesday. For unknown reasons, a driver moving recklessly entered the intersection and began performing donuts in the intersection. Subsequently, the sedan struck the 16-year-old in the leg, knocking him onto the pavement.
From there, the driver fled the scene without helping the victim.
