A Dozen People Hurt After Bus Crashes Into Semi-Truck on Rosemead Boulevard in South El Monte
SOUTH EL MONTE, CA (December 20, 2024) — Twelve people were injured after a metro bus crashed into a semi-truck hauling lumber on Rosemead Boulevard and Klingerman Street.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the bus crash happened around 6:00 a.m. Wednesday. For an unknown reason, Metro Bus Line 266 crashed into a parked semi-truck hauling lumber.
Subsequently, paramedics arrived and transported roughly seven people, including the bus driver, to a hospital. In total, 12 people suffered a range of injuries.
At this time, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the cause. However, if anyone has more information, call local detectives.
