FRESNO COUNTY, CA (September 20, 2024) — One person died in a possible bicycle crash near Elm Avenue and Laguna Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers made the discovery around 9:20 p.m. Wednesday. Upon responding, they found a person who died due to a possible bicycle accident. However, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office clarified that the bicyclist was never hit at all but passed away of natural causes.
 
At this time officials have not released the victim’s name.
 
An investigation should clarify the details, including the cause and manner of death. If anyone has information on this incident, contact the CHP.
