1 Dead in Motorcycle Crash on Douglas Boulevard in Granite Bay

 
GRANITE BAY, CA (May 22, 2024) — A person died in a motorcycle accident on Douglas Boulevard at Kingsgate Drive.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol Auburn division, the two-vehicle crash happened around 6:24 p.m. on May 14. For unknown reasons, a red Cadillac and a red Harley-Davidson motorcycle crashed at the intersection. Subsequently, paramedics responded to the Granite Bay accident and found Good Samaritans helping the involved parties. However, neither of them witnessed the accident.
 
Tragically, the motorcycle rider died in the crash. Officials did not release the victim’s name, however.
