1 Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash at Don Lorenzo Drive in Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (December 17, 2024) — One person died in a 2-car accident at Don Lorenzo Drive and Stocker Street.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the fatal two-vehicle crash happened in the Baldwin Hills and Crenshaw area of Los Angeles.
 
Police officers responded around 4:09 p.m. Sunday to learn that two cars crashed. Firefighters extricated a person trapped in one of the vehicles, describing him as a man in his 50s. Paramedics transported two people in total to an area hospital in critical condition.
 
Following the accident, LAPD investigators determined that one of the cars was heading southbound on Don Lorenzo Drive. However, in an attempt to turn eastbound onto Stocker Street, the car was hit by another vehicle heading westbound.
 
One person in one of the vehicles died later at a hospital.
 
At least one person appears to be in stable condition.
 
Police did not confirm if DUI, distracted driving or speed factored into the crash. However, authorities will delve into this case more closely.
