Rider Dead in 10 Freeway Motorcycle Crash in Boyle Heights

 
BOYLE HEIGHTS, CA (April 24, 2023) — One person died in a motorcycle accident on the 10 Freeway at the 5 Freeway interchange.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal motorcycle accident happened around 1:11 a.m. Saturday. Under unclear circumstances, a motorcycle rider crashed at the northbound 5 Freeway interchange from the 10 Freeway eastbound lanes.
 
Arriving CHP authorities found the victim on the road and pronounced the individual dead.
 
CHP Traffic investigators do not have information on what led to the accident. However, an investigation into the details should confirm what caused the crash.
