1 Person Dies in 210 Pedestrian Crash in Irwindale

 
IRWINDALE, CA (October 4, 2024) — A pedestrian hit by a car on the 210 Freeway near Irwindale Avenue died from severe injuries.
 
According to Irwindale Police officers, the deadly pedestrian accident happened around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a person near the carpool and left lanes. Subsequently, officers responded to the scene and blocked the area to investigate.
 
Due to the crash, traffic was backed up for about 2 miles.
