Pickup Truck Crashes into Brick Wall on Highway 74 in Valle Vista Killing One Person

 
VALLE VISTA, CA (June 26, 2023) – One person died and two others suffered serious injuries after a car accident on Highway 74 in Valle Vista Saturday afternoon on June 24.
 
The fatal accident happened around 2:55 p.m. at Lincoln Avenue. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, a pickup truck crashed into a brick wall at the intersection.
 
An air ambulance took one person and a ground ambulance transported two other people to hospitals with serious injuries.
 
Despite life-saving efforts, one of the patients did not survive and was declared dead.
 
The identity of the deceased was not immediately available.
 
Crews closed both eastbound and westbound sides of the highway while they worked on the scene.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
