Driver Dead after Three-Vehicle Accident on Bruceville Road near Sheldon Road in Sacramento

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (August 23, 2024) – A man died and another victim suffered injuries in a three-vehicle accident on Bruceville Road, Wednesday morning.
 
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the incident happened on August 21, at about 10:30 a.m. For reasons still under investigation, three vehicles collided near Sheldon Road.
 
Emergency crews performed lifesaving measures on one of the drivers involved. However, the driver was later pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities withheld the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
 
Meanwhile, responders transported a second victim to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Officers temporarily closed the area to make way for clearing operations and an investigation.
 
Sacramento police continue to investigate the cause of the fatal accident.
