LOS OSOS, CA (June 18, 2024) — A man suffered an injury in a hit-and-run scooter accident on Los Osos Valley Road near Sunset Drive.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the hit-and-run happened around 8:45 p.m. Thursday. For an unknown reason, a 35-year-old man riding an eastbound Honda Elite scooter on Los Osos Valley Road crashed into a northbound Hyundai Elantra pulling out of a parking lot. Due to the impact, the man was ejected onto the road and suffered major injuries.
 
However, the Hyundai driver left the scene, speeding westbound on Los Osos Valley Road.
