1 Hurt in Highway 101 Multi-Vehicle Crash in San Luis Obispo

 
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (August 14, 2023) — One person reported injuries in a multi-car accident on Highway 101 near Los Osos Valley Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. Thursday. For an unknown reason, a silver Hyundai, a blue Kia and a third vehicle collided near the Los Osos Valley Road off-ramp.
 
As a result, one person suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a hospital for care.
 
Following the accident, Templeton Fire Department paramedics, CHP officers and the San Luis Obispo Police Department responded to assess the scene.
 
Crews closed the area around the crash to investigate the cause and clean the debris near the site.
 
Authorities released no word on the cause of the crash. Although, if anyone has additional insight, please call the CHP.
