VALLEY VILLAGE, CA (August 6, 2024) — One person was injured after a car crashed into a building on Riverside Drive near Irvine Avenue.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the single-car crash happened around 10:55 a.m. Wednesday.
 
For an unknown reason, a driver lost control of a vehicle in the 11600 block of West Riverside Drive. Subsequently, the vehicle plowed into a building.
 
Minutes later, Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to find one person with unknown injuries. However, paramedics did not say what sort of injuries were sustained.
 
At this time, authorities have not confirmed what caused the accident.
