1 Hurt, 2-Car Crash on Hegan Lane in Chico

 
CHICO, CA (March 20, 2023) — One person was injured in a 2-car accident on Hegan Lane near Dayton Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash happened around 4:46 p.m. Thursday. For unknown reasons, a driver of a red Ford Ranger and a silver Toyota Corolla crashed.
 
One person suffered minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.
 
Traffic investigators did not confirm the ultimate cause of the crash, but they do believe improper backing up might have played a factor.
